A couple of weeks ago I stupidly accidentally downloaded some malware on my computer. Drats!
Now I have all this funky stuff going on and my browser has been hijacked. Ergghhh!
I ran my virus protection program and it found no less than 5 trojans and it could only remove 3 of them.
So...these are my options

I ran my virus protection program and it found no less than 5 trojans and it could only remove 3 of them.
So...these are my options
- pay a computer expert to help me heal my sick machine
- buy a new computer and figure out how to keep my wanted files
- Cry
The problem is I don't have the money available for a new computer at the moment. I don't want to have to spend just as much probably on an expert when my computer is "old" anyway. And crying hasn't helped. :)
I should have backed up my files to an online storage. Hindsight is 20/20 it is true.
Thankfully, I have a work lap top that I can bring home to work on. I'm just doing a little more than work now.
I hope your computer tales are happier.

I wonder if you buy a new virus protection if they can remove the other two? Something similar happened to me about a year or so ago; I couldn't even access my computer. Hubby put it into safe mode and ran a new virus protection program (mine was outdated, my fault) and was able to restore the computer when I thought I was going to have to buy a new one. Might be somethign to consider. It is terrible when they don't work; we get so used to them being there for us.
