R is for Read

I am a reader.
At my place there is plenty to read.
I like to read. I teach others to read.
I read, read, and read some more.
What do you like to read?

My favorite genre is Mystery (which includes the Traditional Cozy, Detective, P.I., Thriller, Suspense, and Crime Fiction sub-genres. With such a wide range to description, this can include almost any novel these days.
Our book club read The Courtiers recently, based on the lives of King George and his son. Talk about mystery!

I like to read modern fiction and the Bible :)

I think reading opens up so many doors to learn, to explore, to grow, I too love to read!

Gail, I think mystery is what hooked me as a kid to read. I can remember reading all the Nancy Drew Mysteries and some of the Hardy Boy ones too. I loved me a good mystery, still do.
Thanks for stopping by!

I agree Betty! Reading is the key to learning. And just being functionally literate is important to get along in this world.
I read all kinds of books and read the Bible daily. It is my living Word.
